Bill Long

Over a 25 year career, Bill Long has advised a number of Silicon Valley’s most successful health care and technology companies on IPOs and M&A transactions as an investment banker. Bill joined Mohr Davidow in 2009 to assist portfolio companies with later stage financing and planning for liquidity events. He works with companies across the MDV portfolio in the technology, life sciences and Cleantech sectors.

His combined finance background and senior executive experience, enables Bill to understand the operational challenges of venture backed companies as he works with them to finance their business growth.

  • Graduated from Loyola College of Baltimore in 1985 with a B.A. in Business Administration.
  • Bill has helped a number of leading life sciences and technology companies with financing and M&A transactions while an investment banker at Alex. Brown & Sons, H&Q and successor JPMorgan.
  • He has almost a decade of entrepreneurial and operations experience in marketing, finance and business development at life sciences companies McGaw, Inc. and Vivra, Inc.
  • Bill’s venture capital experience includes working with other leading venture firms and their portfolio companies as a venture debt investor.
