NLight acquires Michigan-based Arbor Photonics

Vancouver, Wash.-based nLight Corp. on Monday announced the acquisition of Arbor Photonics Inc. of Ann Arbor, Mich.
NLight makes high-performance lasers used to process advanced materials in markets including defense and medical products. Arbor has pioneered a fiber laser technology it calls Chirally-Coupled Core (3C) that nLight CEO Scott Keeney said can be applied to his company's major end markets.
