Medio lands Angry Birds maker Rovio as mobile data analytics customer

Angry Birds maker Rovio Entertainment has chosen technology from Medio Systems, the Seattle-based mobile predictive analytics company, to analyze and understand the data generated by all those people slingshoting birds at pigs these days on iPhones, iPad, Google Chrome, Android and other platforms.

“With over 300 million downloads, the mega-hit casual game generates an enormous amount of data touching practically every demographic, geography, location, and device,” the companies explained in a news release this morning. “Rovio’s ability to analyze that data with the Medio technology “will aid Angry Bird fans in the discovery of new services, capabilities and game offerings.” Read more>>>>
