Despite dramatic improvements in some blood cancers, solid-tumor cancers are notoriously difficult to manage since their molecular profile can change due to therapy response or resistance. Therapy selection is still largely trial and error--75% of individual cancer therapies are ineffective for the patient. 

 

Oncologists desperately need better diagnostic tools to help guide treatments. On-Q-ity revolutionizes cancer patient care by providing earlier, more accurate and more predictive information to cancer patients and their doctors. On-Q-ity’s diagnostic tools will enable physicians to identify the unique characteristics of an individual’s cancer, predict response to therapies and monitor the progress of treatment.

 

On-Q-ity utilizes two core proprietary technologies:
1. Microfluidic chip technology to capture, enumerate, and molecularly characterize circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from a sample of blood. 
2. Validated proteomic biomarkers from the DNA repair pathway to predict treatment response in patients’ tissue and blood.
