Crescendo Bioscience, Inc. is a molecular diagnostics company focused solely on Rheumatology. We are initially concentrating on rheumatoid arthritis (RA), a debilitating chronic disease affecting 1.5 million people in the U.S. and over 2 million in Europe. Current measures for assessing RA are largely subjective and cumbersome to administer. Working with leading rheumatologists and scientists, Crescendo Bioscience is building a comprehensive understanding of the biology underlying RA in order to provide a quantitative, objective and molecular analysis that will help guide the treatment and management of patients based on their individual needs. Crescendo is developing a suite of RA tests that will ultimately provide diagnostic, prognostic, therapy selection and monitoring capabilities to help improve outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
